Now complete with 5 beautifully re-furbished en-suite bedrooms, we can offer the ideal place for your stay, whether long or short. A fabulous function room with separate bar area is ideal for those special occasions – weddings, parties or corporate functions.
With a wood burning stove in the bar in the winter, and cosy traditional seating – the White Hart Hotel beckons you in to sit, relax and enjoy the good company of friends old and new. In the summer months, windows are opened to lead out onto a cobbled terrace where you can relax in the shade and enjoy a cool drink.
Serving great St Austell ales, a good variety of lagers and cider, wines from around the world and a huge range of soft drinks and beverages – you will find something for every taste. Our food is sourced from local ingredients where possible and we offer great value food, cooked freshly and presented beautifully. Service with a smile is complimentary!
The 5 contemporary bedrooms are recently refurbished, with a mix of single, twin and double. All with en-suite facilities, ensuring a stylish yet comfortable stay with plenty of room to unwind and relax in comfort. Each room has an individual colour scheme and layout with the following features:

We also serve the most aromatic and tasty coffee… why not pop in and have a great coffee or cappuccino and indulge yourself with a slice of cake to go with it?
We love having children in our pub, and we have colouring books and pens to help them have a good time whilst you relax. A lollipop might even be offered to the very best behaved children!
As dog lovers ourselves we very much welcome dogs in the bar of the White Hart Hotel – a jar of tasty doggy treats sit on the bar, so that your dog enjoys their visit to us as much as you do.
Here at the White Hart Hotel we have returned to great traditional pub food – fresh ingredients, locally sourced where possible and cooked to perfection and all at great value prices.
Our menus change regularly but you can always be sure of great quality, superb tastes and excellent value for money!
The White Hart Hotel is fortunate to boast one of the largest function rooms in the South Hams. Referred to as the Assembly Rooms, you could hold your celebrations here secure in the knowledge that you will be in one of the finest function rooms possible, with great food, drinks and fantastic service!
Suitable for parties of around 150 if for an informal event or party, or around 70 if seated at round tables for a more formal occasion. Alternatively if you want to run a corporate event or a conference, then we can seat around 90 with the seats in a ‘Theatre’ setting. We can provide overhead projector and flip charts.
All functions are individually quoted for – as we believe that every celebration or function is special, therefore, we don’t operate a ‘menu choice’ for you to choose from.
